American seasonally adjusted wholesale inventory sales jumped 2.2% in October, marking a bigger jump than that seen in the previous month.
- Sales for the month stood at $620.5 billion in October, up 2.2% from September’s revised level and higher than the 1.7% growth. It is up 22.2% from a year ago.
- Total inventories stood at $759.4 billion, up 2.3% from the revised September level of $742.2 billion. This is up 14.4% from the revised October 2020 level.
- The total October inventories/sales ratio based on seasonally adjusted data excluding manufacturer’s sales branches and officers fell to 1.22 from 1.31 in October 2020.
