US sales of new single-family houses increased by 0.4% in October to 745,000. The house sales were 23.1% below the October 2020 level. SPY is down 0.058%, DXY is up 0.44%.
- In October, the houses were sold at a median price of $407,700, with the average price at $477,800.
- About 389,000 new houses were estimated to be on sale at the end of October, representing a supply of 6.3 months.
