In 1980, Rothschild co-founded what was then J Rothschild Assurance Group, now recognized as St James’s Place, alongside Mark Weinberg. Jacob was married to Serena for over 50 years until her passing in 2019. Together, they raised four children – Hannah, Beth, Emily, and Nat – as well as numerous grandchildren.
