The North American-based semiconductor manufacturers reported $3.92 billings worldwide in December, increasing 46.1% YOY. SMH up +2.31%, Pre-market trading
- The December’s billings future is 0.% lower than the final November 2021 billings of $3.93 billion and 46.1% higher than December 2020 billings of $2.68 billion.
- Ajit Manocha, SEMI president and CEO stated that December billings remained robust and was the second-highest ever recorded.
- Manocha further stated that billings topped $3 billion every month of the year, closing $4 billion by year-end, signaling unprecedented demand and impressive execution by equipment suppliers.
