Genius Asset Review

May 19, 2022 by Forex Winner Leave a Comment

Genius Asset Review

Genius Asset comes with an auto-update system that allows users to get the latest features. The algorithm sets up easily as traders only need to attach it to the charts to start trading. The author states that currency trading is risky, and traders should only invest what they can afford to lose. Keep on reading to find out in detail about how this product works and its potential benefits and demerits in long term.

Detailed forex robot review

The robot does not have a website of its own, unfortunately. It is listed on the MQL5 marketplace, where the vendor provides all the necessary details about this system.

Vendor transparency

Genius Asset is owned by Roman Erokhin, an individual based in Russia. They have a 4.7 star rating. His profile shows that Roman has no jobs and zero trading experience. He currently has 8 Forex products and 12 signals listed for sale in the market, like Genius Asset, Golden Fleece, Angry Lion, and the Golden Coup.

Roman’s MQL5 ID states that he is a professional developer. Yet, he does not provide important information like company address, email, telephone, etc. Customers can only contact him through the live chat option on MQL5.

Features

The bot has the following features, as claimed by the seller:

  • It supports ECN brokers well.
  • The bot is FIFO-compatible.
  • It’s 100% fully automated.
  • The robot works on the MT4/MT5 platform.

How does it work?

The robot works by following the steps mentioned below:

  1. Purchase the bot from the MQL5 website
  2. Download the system folder onto your PC
  3. Launch the MT4 or MT5 platform on your PC
  4. Drag the EA files onto your charts and enable auto-trading

It will trade the market on auto mode, scanning the charts and placing trades whenever the possible setup comes up.

Genius Asset strategy tests

The algorithm opens trades virtually in the background, based on which an appropriate market entry point is determined. The robot trades across the EURUSD and GBPUSD currency pairs and requires a minimum deposit of $100 with a leverage of 1:10. It does not use grid or martingale strategies.

Unfortunately, the live records only show a single trade which is insufficient to analyze the system on our own.

Trading history for Genius Asset on MQL 5.

The seller provides screenshots of what appears to be backtesting records. However, there is no information about the period for these numbers or the tested currency pair. After analyzing, it was seen that an initial deposit of $1000 was converted into $54,602,000 USD. These numbers show a historical quality of 99%. The profit factor stood at 13.61. The equity drawdown was reported as 12.22, which is not impressive. Z-score was written as 1.61, with a sharpe ratio of 4.78. The algorithm participated in a total of 2447 trades for this period.

Real trading results

Live trading results for Genius Asset are available on MQL5 from 2022.04.28 till the current date for the EURUSD pair. The growth rate of the bot is shown as 3.15%. These stats showed that the product has a maximal drawdown of 2.6%. A leverage value of 1:500 is used. The algorithm made a profit of 6.31 USD from an initial deposit of 200 USD.

As mentioned before, the EA made a total of 1 trade only, which is extremely low to warrant an in-depth analysis justifying good performance.

Pricing

Genius Asset is sold for a one-time price of 650 USD. Traders may also choose to buy a yearly subscription for an asking rate of 600 USD. A free demo version is provided as well. The sold version of this bot only works on Windows, which means that it is not compatible with other OS like Mac, Linux, Ubuntu, etc.

Payments are accepted through PayPal, UnionPay, Visa, MasterCard, and Web Money. There is no information about a money-back guarantee, 24/7 customer service, or other necessary features.

Customer reviews

Unfortunately, we could not locate customer feedback on trusted third-party sites like Trustpilot or Forex Peace Army. However, a total of 4 reviews were present on MQL5. All of them were very recent, making them a bit unreliable to be considered a source of past customer reviews. A trader comments that the system is showing good signs in the initial stages of trading..

Review Summary

Genius Asset fails to provide us with proper backtests, which reduces the authenticity of this bot. Moreover, the seller does not offer proper profile information, making them shady. The live records are for a short duration which are not enough to analyze the true performance of the EA.

Disadvantages
Detailed backtesting records are absent
It is expensive
