DP Poland, the operator of Domino’s pizza stores and restaurants in Poland and Croatia, announced impressive growth in total system sales in both markets. The company expects this positive trend to continue.
In Poland, sales for the third quarter reached 55.0 million Polish zloty ($13.3 million), demonstrating a notable 7.1% increase compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, sales rose by an impressive 33% in October. On a like-for-like basis, sales experienced a significant 14% rise in the third quarter and a remarkable 35% increase in October. These numbers reflect the successful decision to relocate certain stores to more efficient delivery premises. Notably, food and labor costs remained consistent with expectations.
Moving on to Croatia, DP Poland saw total system sales grow by an impressive 34% during the 10 months leading up to the end of October. In October, the company celebrated the opening of its fifth corporate store in the country, which has already exceeded sales expectations within its first few weeks of operation. On a like-for-like basis, system sales rose by a respectable 1.4%.
Chief Executive Nils Gornall expressed excitement over their success in capitalizing on their respective markets so far. He emphasized that this is just the beginning and expects continued improvement in performance.
