Cosmonaut FX EA strategy tests
This trading robot normally examines price channels to identify the period the price deviates from its average value as much as possible. It then selects the most optimal conditions to place trades.
The presentation features several backtests, and we will look into one of them below:
We have the backtest results for the USDCHF currency pair. As you can see, the EA managed to complete 875 trades on the M15 chart using a $5000 deposit. In the end, a total net profit of $1096113.71 was realized, which is remarkable. The profit factor of 2.81 also proves us that the robot was able to generate substantial returns. We had a drawdown of 16.25%, which is indicative of safe trading. The win rates for short and long positions were fairly good at 87.81% and 87.39%, respectively.
Live account trading results
The vendor does not share the live trading stats of this robot. Rather, they highlight several screenshots meant to show the audience what live accounts look like. Our dissatisfaction with these images led us to search for live results on Myfxbook, but we could not find any. This lack of transparency is concerning, and suggests that the vendor is hiding something.
With Cosmonaut, you have two pricing options to choose from. We have the Optimal package that provides access to an unlimited number of accounts for €299. By purchasing this plan, you also receive online support, detailed instructions, and a lifetime license.
The other package, known as the Economy, is available at €249 but gives you access to a single account only. This package also includes features found in the Optimal option. A 14-day refund policy is present, and is only applicable when the EA is proven to be technically defective and unable to function as intended.
The robot has zero customer feedback. For this reason, we don’t know how it performs on traders’ accounts.
